dependent children
Someone who meets all the following requirements in relation to an immigration applicant.
- biological or adopted child of the applicant,
- under 22 years old, and
- not married or in a common-law relationship.
If the child is 22 or more but financially dependent on the applicant because of physical or mental health reasons, they could also be dependent children.
