Intake Process for Parental Sponsorship in 2019

The Government of Canada will commence accepting parental sponsorship applications on January 28, 2019. Please keep the following in mind:
- The application will be online.
- The process is first-in-first-served. You need to submit the application as soon as you can. The cap is 20,000 complete applications.
- The sponsor needs to upload a document that proves they are a resident of Canada.
- The sponsor needs to meet the minimum necessary income requirements.
