New Express Entry Draw

New Express Entry Draw: 2,750 candidates invited

2,750 candidates were invited to apply for permanent residence in the eighteenth Express Entry draw of the year. The number of invitations to apply (ITA) has been on the rise for five consecutive draws. Even better, the CRS score continues to drop.

The August 31st draw didn’t target a specific program. This means that candidates from the Canadian experience class (CEC)Federal skilled worker class (FSWP), and Federal Skilled Trades (FSTP) were eligible to be invited. Moreover, invited candidates had a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 516 points. It is 9 points less than the previous draw. Also, Canada issued 500 more invitations in this draw compared to the previous round of 2,250 invitations.

In this round, the tie-break rule applied to candidates who submitted their profiles before April 16, 2022, at 18:24:41 UTC. Invited candidates now have 60 days to apply for Canadian permanent residence.
