Ontario holds the largest draw of the year: 1,521 candidates invited
On September 7, the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) issued targeted invitations to candidates who may qualify for a provincial nomination through the Ontario Express Entry Skilled Trades Stream. This stream gives foreign nationals with Ontario work experience in eligible skilled trades the opportunity to apply to permanently live and work in the province.
In this draw, OINP invited a total of 1,521 candidates with a CRS score between 320 and above. Similar to the previous draw, there was no upper cap on the CRS score. However, the CRS cut-off increased by 10 points as compared to the last skilled trades draw in July 2022.
Furthermore, Ontario invited candidates who had created an Express Entry profile between the dates of September 7, 2021 – September 7, 2022. You can find the list of invited NOCs (National Occupation Classification) in the later part of this article.
