The US Unsafe for Refugees | FC Says!
The Federal Court of Canada ruled the US is not a safe country for refugees anymore. Consequently, if the government of Canada does not appeal to this decision, people may travel to Canada from the US soil and file for refugee status at a port of entry. This decision could potentially put an end to irregular migration to Canada from the US. It could also open doors for more US citizens to file for asylum in Canada.
