Active File Review and Response

Received a letter from Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC), the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA), the Immigration and Refugee Board of Canada (IRB), or Employment and Social Development Canada (ESDC)?

If the letter made you anxious, gave you a deadline, or left you unsure what to do next, this service is designed for you. Parsai Immigration Services can review your active immigration file, explain what the authority is requesting, and help you respond with the appropriate level of support.

What This Service Is

Active File Review and Response is a guided, fixed-fee service for people who already have an open immigration or refugee matter and need help responding to a letter, decision, interview invitation, or document request.

You start by completing a short online intake form and uploading the documents you received. Our system organizes the key details, including the authority, issue type, deadline, and file information. Then, our Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant, Al Parsai, reviews your file. Al has over 15 years of experience in the business and has represented clients from over 60 countries.

After that review, we will send you a clear offer. Depending on your situation, you may choose simple written advice, a prepared response package, or full representation.

Who This Is For

This service may be suitable if you received one of the following:

  • Procedural Fairness Letter (PFL), when IRCC is questioning something in your application and asking you to respond.
  • Additional Document Request (ADR), when IRCC needs more documents before it can continue processing your application.
  • Refusal letter, when your application has been refused and you need to decide whether to reapply, appeal, request reconsideration, or take another step.
  • Interview invitation, when IRCC, CBSA, or the IRB has scheduled an interview, and you want to prepare.
  • Other active immigration or refugee matters in which a Canadian authority has contacted you, and you have a deadline or follow-up to manage.

You do not need to know the exact legal term before contacting us. If you received a letter that scared you, or you have a deadline and do not know what to do next, begin with the intake form.

Choose the Level of Help You Need

Review and Advice, Starting at $99 CAD

We review your letter and documents, then write you a clear advice letter. The letter explains what the authority is asking, your options, and what you should consider doing next.

This option is best for confident self-filers who want professional direction but prefer to handle the response themselves.

Prepare Response, Starting at $499 CAD

We prepare the response or submission package for you. You remain responsible for submitting it under your own name, but you receive professional-quality drafting and organization.

This option is best if you want help preparing a strong response without formally appointing us as your representative.

Full Representation, Starting at $999 CAD

We take over the matter as your authorized representative and carry the file through to the final outcome. This may include preparing the response, communicating with the authority, and filing on your behalf.

This option is best if you want our firm to manage the matter from start to finish.

The final price is confirmed in writing before you commit. If your matter is more or less complex than expected, we may propose a different price or service level. You decide whether to accept before any change takes effect.

How It Works

  1. Submit the intake form
Upload the letter you received, add any supporting documents, choose the service level that seems closest to your needs, and explain what is happening in your own words. Most people complete the intake in about 10 minutes.
  2. We review and respond
Within 1 to 2 business days, an RCIC at our firm will review your file. We may accept the matter, request more information, suggest a different service level, or decline the matter if it is outside our scope or there is a conflict.
  3. You sign and pay
If we accept the matter and you choose to proceed, you will receive a written service agreement to sign electronically, along with a secure payment link. Payment is handled in accordance with CICC trust-accounting practice until the work is earned.
  4. We deliver through a private portal
Your file, advice letter, response package, and other deliverables are shared through a secure private portal. After the matter is marked complete, you have 30 days to download your records.

Why Use This Service Instead of Just Calling?

  • Faster triage. Your documents are organized at submission, so the authority, deadline, and issue type are easier to identify quickly.
  • Clear pricing. You see the starting price for each service level before you commit. There are no hourly billing surprises for the agreed scope.
  • Secure document exchange. Your file and our work product are encrypted in transit and at rest. We do not email sensitive documents back and forth.
  • One place for your records. Your private portal remains accessible for 30 days after completion, giving you time to download what you need.
  • Available in 10 languages. The intake form supports English, French, Spanish, Mandarin, Punjabi, Arabic, Hindi, Tagalog, Urdu, and Persian.

Start Your File Review

Do not wait until the deadline is too close. Upload the letter now so we can assess the matter and tell you what level of help is available.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does it cost?

Review and Advice starts at $99 CAD. Prepare Response starts at $499 CAD. Full Representation starts at $999 CAD. The final price is confirmed in writing after we review your intake and before you commit.

How fast will I hear back?

We usually respond within one to two business days after you submit the intake form and upload the key documents. Very urgent deadlines should be explained clearly in the intake form.

What if you decline my case?

We decline only when we cannot properly assist, such as when the matter is outside our scope, the deadline is not workable, or there is a conflict. If we decline, we will tell you clearly, and you will not be asked to sign an agreement for that matter.

Is my information secure?

Yes. Documents are exchanged through a secure private portal and are encrypted in transit and at rest. We do not send sensitive immigration documents back and forth by ordinary email.

Can I complete the intake in my language?

The form is available in English, French, Spanish, Mandarin, Punjabi, Arabic, Hindi, Tagalog, Urdu, and Persian. You can use the language selector on the intake page or open a translated version directly when available.

What if the price changes after review?

We may suggest a different price or service level if your matter is more or less complex, or differs from what the intake initially suggested. You decide whether to accept. No changes apply unless you confirm them.

No. Submitting the intake form does not make us your representative. Representation begins only after we accept the matter, you sign the service agreement, and the required payment arrangements are completed.

Take the Next Step

If you have a letter, a decision, an interview notice, or a deadline from a Canadian immigration authority, start with the intake form. We will review the file and tell you what we can do.
